Dr Laura Nkula-Wenz

Laura Nkula-Wenz is a lecturer and researcher at the African Centre for Cities. She is a human geographer by training with a passion for postcolonial urban theory, African urbanism, new pedagogies of the city, cultural policy and public culture. She is also a big fan of books that offer a deep reading of African cities. Some of her favorites are: Lauren Beuke’s Zoo City, Taiye Selasi’s Ghana Must Go, and Ivan Vladislavic’s The Near North.
