Public Seminars and Events

As sites of “literary encounter” between the materiality of literary forms (books, authors, readers, publishers) and urban spaces of the literariness, literary festivals on the continent provide an important site for public engagement with  African Literar Cities. As part of the project, we have thus hosted a variety of events, in partnership with literary stakeholders such as the Open Book Festival.
