The African Literary Cities project aims to develop an interdisciplinary cohort of postgraduate students from fields of Literary and Urban Studies who will be able to conduct research in Literary Urban Studies. Students taking the Literary Cities/ Cities of Literature elective have experimented with producing podcasts, literary maps of selected cities and conducting crowd-sourced research at the Open Book Festival ( Cape Town).
